How To Submit Website On Google Webmaster

Hi Everyone. Everyone needs to submit his/or her website to Google. But the question is How To Submit Website On Google Webmaster Tool. 

Don’t Worry. I am here to help you out. So Let Get Started.

 

Submit your URL or website on Google.

Search google webmaster tool in google. Then click on google search console. Then click on start now. You need to sign in with your Google/Gmail account.

Then you need to click on add property button or add property window will automatically pop up. Now you need to enter your website URL over there and click add property.

 

After that verify ownership window will popup. There are five ways to verify your ownership.

  1. HTML File
  2. HTML Tag
  3. Google Analytics
  4. Google Tag Manager
  5. Domain Name Provider

 

The easiest way is HTML TAG. Copy the tag and paste into your website homepage through the following procedure.

  • Open your WordPress dashboard.
  • Click on the Appearance tab.
  • Click On Editor and find homepage.php

  • Because Meta tag is always inserted in the head tag of HTML file and this is .php file. But you can add HTML code in the .php file. So made the HTML code over there and then paste Meta tag over there.

  1. Then click Update.

 

Now you can also submit sitemap of the website so that Google crawler easily crawl your website.

Please follow these steps to add the sitemap to google search console.

  • Open your WordPress dashboard.
  • Click on plugins.
  • Click On add new.
  • Find Google XML sitemap.
  • Install and then activate that plugin.
  • Then go to dashboard setting tab and click Google XML sitemap.
  • Now you need to configure all setting, add your preferred pages, categories, frequencies, and priorities.

 

Set all frequencies to weekly, except old archives. Set old archives to monthly.

Set priorities to 1 in case of a homepage, 0.8 to Post, static page, archives and categories, 0.3 to tag page and author page.

  1. Click Update options.
  2. Then click on sitemap URL.
  3. Then copy the only sitemap.xml and pasted into google search console.

Congratulations! Your website is now submitted to Google Webmaster Tool.
